WELCOME TO NATURE HOUSE WINTER SCHOOL

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT OUR WINTER SCHOOL

Join us to work hand in hand to recognize the underlying foundation of our well-being and get closer to nature, improve our self-help and life skills, and brainstorm on how nature can help us to reduce stress and increase creativity.

THEME: BE THE LEADER. I AM IN CHARGE.

Do you let kids lead little things in the house? cooking breakfast? Kids' washing day? kids’ cleaning day?

Do we worry about trusting them to do little things in the kitchen? cutting vegetables?

During this winter school, we are going to work on this theme and help kids realize how strong, important and useful they are in their house, their school and the society.

Our Services

DAY 1 : Create Self-help and life skills in Nature- HIKE & COOK.

Hiking is not all about getting into the woods and having fun. It’s also a perfect way to teach kids how to deal with the challenges of life.

A hiking trail through a forest full of creeks and up hills can be better than any classroom for your child.Kids need to think more about the things around them and watch carefully about every step they take.

We will stop by at KABUTOYAMA CAMP SITE, where the fun part begins. We will collect wood, make fire and cook curry for lunch. There’s nothing like kids getting involved in cooking in nature and we believe this experience will help kids to love nature more.

DAY 2: Learn from THE SEA creatures- LET’S GO TO THE AQUARIUM.

How much do we know about sea animals and how they live in the sea?

This trip will broaden kids' knowledge about sea life and their perspectives of keeping the sea clean and safe for the sea creatures.

DAY 3: DIY - GLASS JAR -NEW YEAR RESOLUTION & TREASURE

Learning new skills improves your kid's brain. They will gain strong planning and organizational skills by creating a list of materials to purchase for the project. Using their imagination to visualize the ideal outcome of their project will keep them moving forward into bigger, more detailed DIY projects as their confidence grows. and it makes them smarter!

DAY 4: WINTER & ANIMALS- KOBE ANIMAL KINGDOM

The power of the human-animal connection is quite well established. Numerous studies have found supportive evidence for positive mental and physical health benefits from being near animals and touching them.On this day we will spend some time at Kobe animal Kingdom, feed some animals, touch some animals and get closer to nature while enjoying the shows and the sceneries around.

DAY4

　Winter School GOAL!

By the end of this program, kids should be able to gain enough confidence in using their English. Build strong relations with friends and also enhance their perspectives about nature; sea and animals.

This winter program is more intensive and we would recommend the long hours to you all. This will help us not to rush activities and also for kids to spend more time in the English environment.
